When I breed a litter of puppies it is first and foremost for me this is my hobby not a business. I love having babies around to look after and they are terrific fun and very rewarding. I strive to produce the best I can. First and foremost I aim for a good temperament, correct conformation and movement. Good straight legs and nice ears. I don't favour overly tall dogs with really long backs. My dogs always produce elegant nicely set on necks.
All the puppies here are brought up with lots of cats and my children, horses also. From the moment they are born they are handled and get used to people and all household sounds, music, television, hoovers etc, they have huge baskets to sleep in by the log burner. My cats are always a part of their life even when they are newborns. Miss Ellie May is self appointed midwife! She has been fascinated with whelpings from when she was a kitten.
